If you've followed the comments pro and con about the Next Page, bars on the Kindle, you know that some Kindle users complain about inadvertently turning a page by pressing the Next Page bar on the right side of the device.
I can understand why the developers, who obviously want reading on the Kindle to be as close as possible to the traditional book reading experience, put the Next Page bar on the right side of the Kindle "page". When reading a traditional book you can move to the next page by grasping the right hand page at any point. On the Kindle you push the edge of the page bar at any point.
I do find myself occasionally hitting the right Next Page button, but this problem is certainly not a deal breaker for me because the Prev Page button takes you back to where you were. Normally I grasp the device to the left of the Next Page bar and turn the pages with the Next Page bar on the left side of the device.
For those Kindle owners who find the Next Page bars annoying, I'm wondering if Amazon couldn't simply add a feature to the settings allowing you to either turn off the Next Page button on the right or requiring that you tap it twice in order to turn a page? Ideas? Or does this even bother you?

I think being able to disable the buttons on the right or left side would be helpful to people. I had a lot of trouble the first few days and was really conscious of it for a while. Now I'm totally use to it and don't have a problem. When reading I prop the device in my palms and put my thumbs by the Amazon logo.
